1. The agreement

The agreement consists of these terms, the information in your order and order confirmation, and anything we have specifically agreed with you. Where they differ, what we have specifically agreed takes precedence, as long as it does not conflict with mandatory law.

The agreement is governed by Norwegian consumer law: the Consumer Purchases Act (forbrukerkjøpsloven), the Cancellation Act (angrerettloven), the E-commerce Act, the Marketing Control Act and, for digital patterns, the Digital Content and Services Act (digitalytelsesloven). These laws give you rights that cannot be contracted away.

2. The parties and contact details

  • Seller: SILJESUN AS
  • Org. no.: 937 596 693
  • Address: Vulkan 2, 0182 Oslo
  • Email: silje.sundal@gmail.com
  • Phone: 970 57 942

The buyer is the consumer who places the order, as named in the order.

3. Prices

All prices are in Norwegian kroner (NOK) and are total prices including all taxes and fees. Shipping for physical items comes on top and is shown before you pay. You never pay more than the amount shown in the order before you approve the payment in Vipps.

4. When the agreement is made

The agreement is binding on both parties once you have approved the payment in Vipps.

Most pieces are made only once. If two people are checking out with the same piece, it goes to whoever completes the payment first. If a piece is gone before we can confirm your purchase, we let you know and refund the full amount.

The agreement is not binding if the offer contains obvious typing errors, such as a clearly wrong price, and you understood or should have understood this.

5. Order confirmation

Once we have received your order, we send an order confirmation by email. Check that it matches what you ordered, and tell us as soon as possible if anything is wrong.

6. Payment

You pay with Vipps MobilePay. Vipps MobilePay AS's own terms apply to the payment itself.

  • Pieces and other physical items: the amount is reserved when you order and charged when the item ships.
  • Digital patterns: the amount is charged when you buy, because the pattern is delivered straight away.

If a purchase is cancelled or you use your right of withdrawal, we refund to the same Vipps account you paid with.

7. Delivery

Physical items are sent with Posten (Norgespakke) to the address in your order. Shipping comes on top of the price of the item. Most pieces go as a small parcel, which costs NOK 76. The shipping cost is shown at checkout before you pay. We only ship within Norway.

We ship as soon as we can after you have paid, and within 14 days at the latest. You get the tracking number by email when the parcel is on its way.

Delivery has taken place when you, or someone you have named, have received the item.

Digital patterns are delivered as access in the pattern app at ull-inclusive.no. You get access as soon as the payment is approved, and a link by email.

8. Risk

The risk for the item passes to you when you, or someone you have named, have received it. If the item is damaged or lost on the way to you, that is our responsibility.

9. Right of withdrawal

Pieces and other physical items: You have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Norwegian Cancellation Act. The period starts the day after you receive the item. You do not need to give a reason.

Tell us within the period by email or with the withdrawal form at the bottom of this page. It is enough to send the notice within the period. You must then send the item back to us no later than 14 days after giving notice.

You pay the cost of returning the item. We refund the full price and the standard shipping you paid to receive the item, no later than 14 days after we receive your notice. We may wait to refund until we have the item back, or you have shown that it has been sent.

You may examine the item as you would in a shop. If it has been used or damaged beyond that, we may deduct the loss in value from the refund.

Pieces made to your measurements or wishes, such as a collar in a colour you chose, have no right of withdrawal, because they are made to your specifications (Cancellation Act section 22 (b)). We make this clear before you order if it applies.

Digital patterns: A pattern is digital content delivered straight away. Before you pay, we ask you to agree that delivery starts immediately and to confirm that you then lose your right of withdrawal (Cancellation Act section 22 (n)). You receive a confirmation of this by email with your order confirmation.

10. Returns

Pack the item well, ideally in its original packaging, and send it to SILJESUN AS, Vulkan 2, 0182 Oslo. Include your name and order number. We recommend sending it with tracking and keeping the receipt.

Do not send the item cash on delivery. We do not accept such parcels.

11. Delay and non-delivery

If the item does not arrive at the agreed time, and this is not your fault, you may withhold payment, demand delivery, cancel the purchase and claim compensation, under chapter 5 of the Consumer Purchases Act. Tell us in writing, for example by email.

If no time is agreed, the item is to be delivered within a reasonable time and no later than 30 days after the order.

12. Defects and complaints

If the item is defective, you must tell us within a reasonable time after you discovered or should have discovered the defect. Telling us within two months is always in time. The absolute limit is two years after you received the item, or five years for items meant to last considerably longer.

If the item is defective, you may under the Consumer Purchases Act demand repair, a price reduction, cancellation or compensation. A one-of-a-kind piece cannot be swapped for a new one, so we find a solution together: repair, a price reduction or your money back.

Everything is made by hand. Small differences in stitches, colour and shape are part of the handwork and are described or shown in the photos. Such differences are not defects. This does not change your rights under the law.

Digital patterns: If a pattern does not work as described or content is missing, you have rights under the Digital Content and Services Act. Tell us within a reasonable time, and we will fix it, reduce the price or refund you.

Complaints are made by email. Tell us what is wrong, and include photos if you can.

13. The seller's rights if the buyer does not pay

If you do not pay or do not meet your other obligations under the agreement, we may under chapter 9 of the Consumer Purchases Act withhold the item, demand that the agreement is fulfilled, cancel the agreement and claim compensation. If you do not collect a parcel, we may charge the cost of the return and of sending it again.

14. Personal data

SILJESUN AS is the data controller for the details you give us when you buy: name, address, email, phone number and what you bought. We use them only to complete and deliver your purchase, answer you, and meet the Norwegian bookkeeping rules, which require us to keep accounting records for five years.

We share the details only with those needed to complete the purchase: Vipps MobilePay for the payment and the carrier for delivery. You can ask to see, correct or delete your details by contacting us, and you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).

15. Disputes

Complaints should be sent to us within a reasonable time. We will always try to find a solution with you first.

If we cannot agree, you can ask the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet) to mediate: www.forbrukertilsynet.no. If mediation does not succeed, the case can be brought before the Consumer Disputes Commission (Forbrukerklageutvalget). You can always take the case to the ordinary courts.
